Major achievements in recent years (3 years):

In the past 3 years, Bangladesh Ansar Village Defense Force has provided basic, technical and vocational training to 570 Ansar and VDP members to eliminate unemployment and create decent employment in Joypurhat district in order to achieve the goal of sustainable development. 2500 Ansar and VDP members have been deployed in various stages of elections, religious ceremonies. The members of this force have participated in a total of 95 joint and single patrols with various forces to maintain law and order and public safety. Along with Ansar and VDP members, 25 battalion Ansar members have been actively engaged in the implementation of the lockdown including 300 protective kits, distribution of 3000 leaflets, distribution of food aid among 750 families to fight against Covid-19. On the occasion of Mujib year and golden jubilee of independence, 01 Bangabandhu corner, construction of 01 house among poor members, planting of 1396 trees, 50 minutes long rally with 50 national flags were held in this district. 175 Ansar and VDP members to provide technical, vocational basic and skill enhancement training to develop human resources. 405 Ansar-VDP members were deployed under the security of government and private organizations. 25 patrols and operations are conducted to maintain public safety and law and order. 60 volunteers were trained through disaster management training.
